Replaying the argument in my head
Argument ended hours or days ago. Your brain keeps re-running it, finding new things you should have said.
rumination_loop.exe
Your brain is replaying a closed event because it never got a "win" frame. It will replay forever if you keep watching.
Re-running a finished event does not change the outcome. It only drains battery. The argument is logged. The thread is closed.
No new message needed. The conversation is logged.
Write the best version of what you would say, on paper, then put it in a drawer. Do not send. Then start a sprint.
sudo kill -9 rumination_loop && rm /tmp/argument_replay.cache
Replaying a closed event with no exit condition.
Force-quit the loop. Clear the cache.
